NBA Draft NFTs

During the 2021 NBA Draft, I worked with Klutch Sports Group to create a series of NFTs in real time, generating a custom artwork as each of their rookies was selected. Each piece was released instantly for auction on Notables, capturing the pace and energy of draft night as it unfolded. As players came off the board, the visuals evolved live, translating each selection into a unique digital artifact in the moment.

Each work was further grounded in place through the use of 3D scans of cities across the United States, mapped to the team that drafted the player. Fragments of each city’s architecture and landscape were embedded into the compositions, creating a direct spatial connection between player and destination. The result is a series that merges real-time data, geography, and identity into a set of location-driven digital works.
